Will your MP help us make history?

In a huge step forward in our campaign, the Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Bill was introduced to Parliament on 15th June 2022. But this is just the first step of many for parents with a vulnerable baby to have extra paid time off work.

We need at least 100 MPs to go and support the Bill through its next stage on Friday 15th July. Without them there, we might lose our chance to make Neonatal Leave and Pay a reality.

Did your baby spend time in neonatal care?

Tell your MP what additional leave and pay would have meant to you and ask them to attend the debate about the bill.

Your MP is more likely to attend if they know why it matters to you. If you feel comfortable sharing your experience with your MP it will help them understand why extra leave for parents is so important.
